Around 300 national jurists will attend a forum convened by the Attorney General of the Nation, Gregorio Eljach, this Wednesday to reflect on the independence of judges. Participating in the forum, which seeks to draw attention to the value of judicial autonomy and independence as fundamental pillars of democracy, will be French constitutional scholar Fabrice Hourquebie, who will present his book, *The Autonomy of Judges*.
