The IT group, the former flagship of the sector, has just received a firm offer from the French state to buy back its strategic activities, which include supercomputers, key technologies for the French defence and industry. The transaction, which amounts to 410 million euros, is expected to be completed in 2026.
The Atos Group announced on Monday 2 June that the State had submitted a firm offer of €410 million to acquire some of its strategic activities, including nuclear deterrence supercomputers.
The entity is now joining the head of the State Equity Agency, which already has 68 unlisted companies in its portfolio, but its future remains uncertain.
