At least 1,000 online domains that belong to most likely unaware companies, self-employed individuals, and foundations are filled with illegal casino promotions, according to an investigation by NBR Nieuwsradio. However, BNR suspects that the actual number can be higher than 8,000. The news service added that prohibited promotions are most probably being added to the websites without asking the owners.
