Association of Serenes says that rules of their sector are violated by mayors "for political favors"

Armando Jara, president of the Asociación de Serenos del Perú, expressed support for the amendment of the Law of the Serenazgo Municipal that allows them to use non-lethal weapons, but warned that many times the rules are violated by the mayors "for political favors".
