Both Inge Reyntjens and her ex-lover Daisy will ask for acquittal next week for the murder of Inge's sister Heidi Reyntjens, who died in April 2019 after she was pushed into the Dessel-Schoten canal at night. "Inge was under pressure because of the messages Daisy had been sending her since 2016. She pushed Heidi out of frustration, but tried to help her sister after she ended up in the water," her lawyer said on the first day of the trial.
