Assam chief secretary orders faster relief, restoration as floods worsen
- On Thursday, intense flooding across 11 districts in Assam affected 6.53 lakh people and killed 10 individuals within 24 hours, raising the total death toll to 41, according to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority.
