PORTUGAL, JUN 17 – Authorities seized explosives, 3D-printed firearms, and propaganda from six far-right extremists accused of terrorism and hate crimes linked to anti-immigrant ideology, police said.
- On Tuesday, law enforcement in Portugal detained six individuals associated with the far-right group Movimento Armilar Lusitano and confiscated explosives along with several firearms.
- The arrests followed an investigation that tracked extremist content online linked to far-right nationalist views and incitement to violence against migrants.
- Officers seized 3D-printed guns, several 3D printers, ammunition, knives, propaganda materials, and a municipal police officer was among the detainees.
- Luis Neves, director of the Judiciary Police, expressed deep concern about the rise of far-right extremist activities, noting that such incidents are occurring beyond national borders.
