The Argentine Government reaffirmed on Tuesday the validity of bilateral agreements that recognize Chilean sovereignty over the territories of the Strait of Magellan, following the announcement by Chile that it would send a protest note over a controversial statement by the Chief of Staff of the Argentine Air Force, Gustavo Javier Valverde.
