US EditionArc Raiders Patch 1.11.0 Adds Abyss Cosmetic Set Along With Some Fixes and Balancing Changes to the Trigger ‘Nade and Kettle
Embark Studios reduced the Trigger Nade's detonation delay and the Kettle's fire rate to balance PvP after player complaints about dominance and unfair macro use.
- Arc Raiders update 1.11.0 is now live, nerfing weapons and adding the Abyss cosmetic set as the game surpasses 12 million copies sold.
- Players pressed Embark after the Trigger Nade dominated PvP since December, and Embark said the Kettle's previous fire rate was only reachable by players using macros, creating an unfair dynamic.
- The patch notes show that Embark reduced the Kettle's fire rate from 600 to 450, increased Trigger Nade detonation delay to 1.5 seconds, fixed a keycard exploit, and lowered lighting on Stella Montis Night Raid.
- The nerfs aim to reduce advantages held by players using macros or third-party software, make the Trigger Nade less effective for mid-air detonations, and increase flashlight and listening relevance while hotfixing in-game console access.
- Having returned from their Christmas break, Embark Studios promised more changes after addressing some of the biggest player complaints in recent weeks, while coverage continues on aggression-based matchmaking and aim assist.
