Colourful knitted kindness hearts are helping to bring comfort to the families of patients who are receiving last hours and days of life care at Shropshire’s two acute hospitals.

Appeal launched for knitted hearts to be gifted to end-of-life care patients at Shropshire hospitals

The Palliative Care team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust have been gifting the knitted hearts as a poignant keepsake – one that stays with the patient and others which are given to the patient’s loved ones.
