The second stage of the Tour of Catalonia from Banyoles to Figueres went to Briton Ethan Vernon (Israel-Premier Tech), who overtook compatriot Matthew Brennan (Visma-Lease a Bike) and Australian Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) in a sprint finish. Slovenian ace Primož Roglič (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) finished the stage in 47th place in the winner's time.
