"Rzeczpospolita" with a Special Supplement on the Occasion of the Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising
To mark the 81st anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, the editorial teams of the daily newspaper "Rzeczpospolita" and the website zyciewarszawy.pl have prepared a special 32-page print supplement and a website, including all materials from the print edition. This is another installment of a cyclical project carried out under the patronage of the Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Mayor of Warsaw.
On August 1st at 5:00 PM – as every year – air raid sirens will commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. This year's commemorations are held under the slogan "Share your memory, or it will disappear." In times when the last witnesses to history are passing away, memory becomes a value that we must cherish and pass on. That's why this year's graphic design for the Uprising commemorations is from the website Misyjne.pl.
Commemorations of the 81st anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising are underway. President Andrzej Duda addressed the audience and awarded medals to the insurgents.
