Gadag News: The Food Department and the police have busted a network in Gadag that was illegally transporting 32 tonnes of Annabhagya rice to Maharashtra. A lorry was seized in Binkadakatte village and it was found that the rice was being transported in the name of Haveri APMC by creating fake documents. The driver and the cleaner have been arrested in connection with the case and a complaint has been registered at the Gadag Rural Police Station.
