Lima police hires parking enforcement officer
LIMA — The Lima Police Department announced the hiring of Ransom Holman as Parking Enforcement Officer Thursday. The department reported in January that four candidates had taken the civil service exam to fill two part-time positions (bit.ly/4hqQDEo). The department had been assigning police academy cadets to check meters and place chalk lines in spots using time limit signs. The officers will work from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
