Andromeda's satellite galaxy system is highly asymmetrical

A team of astrophysicists characterized the asymmetry of the Andromeda system and tested its consistency with the standard model predictions. All but one of the 37 satellite galaxies in Andromeda are located within 107° of our Galaxy seen from the centre of Andromeda.
