Andrews is headed to its first state final after beating Sulphur Springs in semi-final

GRAHAM, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - The Andrews Mustangs will make their first state final appearance after taking a 2-1 series win over Sulphur Springs. The Mustangs dropped game two Saturday, 7-5, before putting on a show in a winner-takes-all game three, beating the Lady Cats 15-5. Senior Alexys Cornejo had a performance in game three, having two home runs and five RBIs. Andrews will face off against Calallen this Friday.
