On Sunday, November 2, 2025, the British Minister of Defence, John Healey, announced that ex-prince Andrew would be deprived of his last honorary military title, a decision that was consistent with that of Charles III, who announced on Thursday that his younger brother was officially deprived of his royal titles.
No duke, no prince, no admiral: after the withdrawal of his royal title, Andrew is also deprived of his last military rank of honor. The British government thus apparently follows the instructions of King Charles.
