The Brussels municipality of Anderlecht is introducing a four-day school week to address the “dramatic” teacher shortage in municipal primary schools and Dutch-language education. This was reported by alderman Bieke Comer (Vooruit.brussels) in a press release. The aim is to attract qualified teachers and “increase attractiveness as an employer”.
