An Extremely Rare Mushroom Has Been Found in Samogitia – only Isolated Cases Are Found in Europe

A mushroom that has never been found in Lithuania before has been discovered in the village of Stirbaičiai. Active nature researcher Zina Jokšienė discovered the species Ascocoryne turficola, the site of which is today considered the first not only in the Samogitia National Park, but also in the entire country, the Samogitia National Park Directorate announces.
