In Lyon, over the Ascension Day long weekend, a pop-up store called Jennah, aimed exclusively at chaste Muslim women, opened. Only veiled visitors were allowed in, and the range included hijabs, abayas and loose tunics. Hundreds of women flocked to the store, with long lines forming outside, dramatically changing the atmosphere of the city centre street.
An ephemeral shop opened near Place Bellecour in Lyon during this weekend. This shop, which says to address "only Muslim modesty", attracted many customers in the neighborhood.
