Wind is spreading a major forest fire in Greece. 11 planes and seven helicopters are fighting it from the air.
Severe forest fires are raging south of the Greek capital Athens. An elderly man has been found dead in his home, the country's public service channel ERT reports.
A forest fire fired in the south-east of the capital of Greece, Athens, and uncontrollable land, fed by strong winds, announced yesterday's local pumping service, DPA informs.
The man was found inside the brick building where he lived alone, near the point where the fire broke out in the Togani area.
