To mark the city’s 750th anniversary, Amsterdam shut down its busiest highway last weekend only for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. At the helm of Festival op de Ring’s sole dance music stage was  the ambitious event producer Audio Obscura, who programmed a Highway Rave packed with local talent. Here, Safiya Bashir reports back on how the crew wove Dutch club culture into capital’s civic infrastructure to create their boldest party yet
