The NGO targets 15 Israeli and foreign companies, for which "Amnesty International has gathered credible evidence of their contribution to Israel's illegal actions".
In its latest report released on Thursday, 18 September, Amnesty International accuses several companies of being involved, to varying degrees, in Israel's crimes in Gaza. The NGO called on states and companies to stop their activities "contribute directly or not" to the "apartheid system against the Palestinians" under Israel's control and to the "genocide in Gaza".
This Thursday marks the one-year deadline given to Israel by the UN General Assembly to leave Gaza.
