- On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a new 400-bed tower at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, New Delhi, expanding the facility's total capacity to approximately 1,200 beds.
- The new facility enhances the hospital's ability to provide tertiary and quaternary healthcare services across more than 22 specialties, serving patients from Delhi-NCR and other regions as a flagship Max Healthcare Institute location.
- Advanced medical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot, enable precision-driven procedures; Max Healthcare Institute employs over 42,000 people across its integrated ecosystem.
- Chairman and Managing Director Abhay Soi said the facility brings together "cutting-edge technology, world-class infrastructure and exceptional Indian clinical talent" to support India's journey toward a "Viksit Bharat."
- Marking a milestone in its 25-year service journey, Max Healthcare provided free treatment worth Rs 244 crore to 3.60 lakh patients last year, reinforcing its commitment to accessible healthcare across India.
