American Rebzikade Threatens Styrian Vineyards

The pest occurs frequently and transmits the golden yellow yellow yellowing disease (flavescence dorée). This highly infectious plant disease leads to the death of affected vines within a few years, endangering the economic existence of wine-growing plants and the attractive cultural landscape in the Styrian wine country, it was said on Wednesday.
