- The 787-9P features 51 Flagship Suite seats with lie-flat and chaise lounge configurations, and the FAA recently approved sliding doors now set to be activated soon.
- Daily service to Brisbane starts October 25 through March 28, Buenos Aires October 26 through January 5, Auckland January 5 through March 28, and London October 26 through January 5, with a second daily London flight from December 3.
- American also plans to reintroduce pajamas and mattress pads on long-haul flights later this summer as part of a broader shift toward premium customer service.
