Allegedly intoxicated mom crashes near school during child drop-off hours

MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie mom told police she was on her way to drop off her 4-year-old child at a nearby elementary school when she crashed near Southside Middle School on Monday morning. Hannah Roman, 36, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangering a person, a Level 6 felony, and neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony.
