Following a recent demand by NYC Mayor, Eric Adams, to institute a 15 mph/24kph speed limit on e-bikes citywide amid growing concerns over safety, Lyft, which runs NYC's Citi Bike public bike share system, has lowered the maximum speed of their e-bikes from 18 mph, reports the Gothamist Daily.
