Quantum computing startup Alice & Bob and the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) are launching a joint software development project to enable the use of quantum computers and conventional supercomputers. The project aims to prevent the emergence of a software monopoly similar to Nvidia's CUDA platform.
On Thursday, the CEA and Alice & Bob formalize a partnership aimed at integrating quantum technology that is tolerant of the faults of the Parisian company with French supercomputers. A real step on the way to the first industrial uses of quantum computing.
