Celec activates controlled discharges at Daule-Peripa reservoir

The Corporación Nacional de Electricidad (Celec) reported that, due to the increase in the flow to the Daule-Peripa reservoir, controlled discharges are resumed to decrease the rate of rise of the reservoir level.

This action aims to decrease the rate of rise of the reservoir level and prevent possible uncontrolled discharges that could occur in the coming days due to the floods of the Daule River.
