Statistics Canada released its latest Labor Force Survey on October 10, showing that Alberta performed particularly well, leading the nation with an increase of 43,000 jobs and a drop in the unemployment rate to 7.8%, a 0.6 percentage point decrease from August. Nationally, employment increased by 60,000 in September, while the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 7.1%.
