Agroinsurance has so far paid almost €144,250 to insured producers in Álava for the damage recorded in winter cereals during the 2026 marketing year. The figure is known to coincide with the opening of the period to contract the insurance of extensive arable crops corresponding to the 2027 harvest, which allows to protect productions such as wheat, barley, oats, rye, rice, sunflower, maize, chickpea, lentil or bean, among others.
