Today will be a similar day with clouds and some sun. Still a little bit of haze, along with the chance of a pop-up storm, mainly over the higher terrain and west.

Air quality alert affecting 5 N.J. counties until early Wednesday

At 9:01 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service reported an air quality alert in effect until Wednesday at midnight for Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset counties.“The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for Fine Particulates, until midnight EDT tonight,” according to the weather service.
