Air Canada Launches Airport Shuttle Service From Downtown Montreal
The service uses dedicated lanes and a private airport entrance, and Air Canada says it can save passengers up to 25 minutes in peak traffic.
- On Monday, Air Canada launched the Air Canada City Shuttle, a new motorcoach service connecting downtown Montréal's Palais des congrès to Trudeau International Airport with 37 daily frequencies.
- Addressing recent airport construction and traffic delays, the new service utilizes dedicated high-occupancy vehicle lanes to bypass congestion, allowing passengers to save up to 25 minutes during peak travel times.
- Operated by The Landline Company, the shuttle costs $9 per trip before taxes, with children under 15 riding free. Coaches feature 48 reclining leather seats and power outlets.
- To ensure reliability during the busy summer travel season, Air Canada provides complimentary flight rebooking for customers with at least 95 minutes of connection time who experience shuttle delays.
- Jerome Conraud, vice-president of strategy, planning, and sustainability at ADM, noted this initiative complements upcoming REM station and new drop-off areas designed to address airport congestion.
