AGFC winter stockings to add nearly 60,000 trout to Arkansas ponds

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is putting a bow on its 2024-25 winter community pond stockings.

Trout were delivered to ponds in Cabot, Pine Bluff, Little Rock, Conway, Maumelle, Bentonville, and Springdale from the Spring River State Fish Hatchery.

The traditional raising of the AAPPMA of Remiremont was held this Thursday. No less than 300 kilos of rainbow trout were put into the water to open the fishing season that begins this Saturday.
