The Colruyt supermarket chain sells 81 of its stores located in France (east and centre-east), as well as 44 DATS service stations to the French distribution group Le Groupement Les Mousquetaires, which owns intermarché, Bricorama and Netto. About 1,300 Colruyt employees will thus pass under the direction of the French buyer.
The Belgian distributor announced on Tuesday 17 June that it would sell a majority of its stores located in France to the distribution group Les Mousquetaires /Intermarché. Cost of the operation: approximately 215 million euros.
