The SBI TOP index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange is starting the week at record levels. It reached its highest value in the morning trading session with almost 2,691 points, which is well above the highest values during trading in August or September 2007. At 11:30, it was gaining about one percent in value.
Stock markets entered the new year with a good deal of optimism and new records. The Dow Jones is on the verge of a new milestone, the value of 50 thousand points. After more than 18 years, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange SBITOP index also reached a historic peak.
