Afro-Femins denounces illegal retention of passports of migrants before the Ombudsman

The Afroféminas legal team has filed a formal complaint with the Ombudsman denouncing the illegal retention of passports in various police stations in Spain. This practice, which ceased to have legal protection in 2015, continues to be used systematically against foreigners, depriving them of their documentation and adding them to a situation of extreme vulnerability.
