Adverts for unhealthy foods are to be restricted across Kingston.
The council says it’s to help tackle rising obesity rates in the borough. All advertising spaces controlled by the authority will be free from adverts for foods high in fat, salt and sugar. The new policy builds on existing restrictions on advertising for alcohol, vapes and e-cigarette and gambling products.
