‘Adults’ Boss Welcomes Viewers to Friend Group in FX’s New Comfort Comedy

The comedy series Adults premieres on May 28, 2025, on FX with episodes also streaming on Hulu, following friends living together in Queens, New York.
Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, both formerly of the Tonight Show, the show centers on post-college pals sharing Samir's childhood home amid his parents’ absence.
The cast of Adults includes Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Thiele, with notable guest appearances from several well-known actors such as the lead of Daredevil: Born Again, along with Julia Fox, John Reynolds, and D’Arcy Carden.
Showrunner Robinson says, “Hopefully, the audience feels like they’re the sixth roommate,” capturing the awkward, anxious experience of young adulthood with relatable, down-to-earth moments.
