- The result leaves Columbus Blue Jackets to host Minnesota Wild on Thursday, while Anaheim Ducks, who lost three games on their five-city road trip, host Dallas Stars on Friday.
- The win also represented Columbus's first over Anaheim at Nationwide Arena since Dec. 1, 2017, and Werenski extended his home point streak to 11 games while scoring twice.
