- SEC coaches also awarded Texas' Dailyn Swain newcomer of the year, Florida's Urban Klavzar sixth man and Rueben Chinyelu defensive player, while Acuff made First-Team All-SEC and All-Freshman teams and teammates Meleek Thomas and Billy Richmond III earned All-Freshman and All-Defensive honors respectively.
- The honors mark Acuff as only the third SEC player to win both Player and Freshman of the Year, joining Anthony Davis and Brandon Miller, and the third Razorback to win SEC Player of the Year.
