Slovak Supreme Court takes extremist Daniel Bombic into custody

The Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic on Tuesday ordered the detention of Daniel Bombic, known as Dany Kollár, reversing the decision of a specialized court that had released Bombic on April 19, 2025.

Daniel Bombic, also known as Danny Kollár, will be prosecuted in custody, the Supreme Court has ruled.

The Supreme Court saw Bombic's posts as spreading hatred and a violation of the conditions he was given in February. It did not give him a second chance at freedom.

Police arrested the accused on Wednesday, April 16.
