Security Operatives Rescue Abducted Persons In School Attack
Security forces rescued four kidnapped victims after a coordinated operation ordered by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, officials said.

- Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo ordered an immediate rescue mission following the Tuesday attack, directing State Security Adviser Commander Jerry Omodara to coordinate efforts involving the Nigerian Army, DSS, and police forces.
- Security personnel, including the 12 Brigade and 21 Battalion, saturated the forest to pressure the kidnappers, forcing the criminals to abandon the victims and flee.
- The rescued individuals are currently 'hale and hearty' and undergoing debriefing with security agencies; operatives remain in the forest as the ongoing operation continues.
- Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications Kingsley Femi Fanwo expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support, stating the government remains determined to ensure criminals face justice.
