AAA reports California gas prices at $4.73, down eight cents a gallon since last week

AAA says that the prices around the state vary, with San Francisco at $4.93, San Jose at $4.81, Fresno at $4.75, and Stockton at $4.69. The national average is $3.14 for a gallon of gasoline.
