Columbus City Council Approves $23M for Cybersecurity a Year After Devastating Cyberattack

COLUMBUS, OHIO, JUL 15 – Council unanimously approved $23 million to implement a Zero Trust Network after a cyberattack exposed data of hundreds of thousands, aiming to enhance IT security and limit future breaches.

One year after the cyberattack, Columbus has released no more details, but the city council signed off on $23 million for cybersecurity.
