[Kadena] At around 1:50 p.m. on the 28th, a U.S. Air Force C-40 high-ranking transport aircraft arrived at Kadena Air Base. The purpose is unknown. The C-40 is used to transport VIPs both domestically and internationally. At around 3:05 p.m., three F/A-18 fighter jets stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni (Yamaguchi Prefecture) arrived at the base. The arrival is believed to be for training purposes.
