The victim was identified as C Vikram Singh, a Manipur native who has been residing in Kilokari village for several years. The Sunlight Colony police have detained eight persons including a minor for their alleged involvement in the incident.

A Manipuri musician died after being assaulted by delivery workers and dhaba staff. He had objected to their shouting and drinking alcohol outside his apartment. Police received a call and initiated an investigation into the incident. Some suspects, including a minor, have been detained by authorities. The North East Students Society condemned the senseless act of violence.
