On the 19th, the Japan Sumo Association announced that it will hold a Paris performance on June 13th and 14th next year. This will be the third time since 1995, and Chairman Hakkaku (former yokozuna Kitakachiyama) said at a press conference at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, "We will make thorough preparations so that people can enjoy the charm of traditional culture and the power of the sumo ring."
Thirty-one years after their last visit to Bercy, the sumo wrestlers will return to Paris for a tournament organized at the Accor Arena on June 13 and 14, 2026.
