Netanyahu urges key Likud lawmaker to reach compromise with Haredi parties over IDF draft

Kikar Hashabbat commentator Yishai Cohen addressed the coalition's efforts to resolve the ongoing crisis with the ultra-Orthodox parties: "There are claims in Agudat Israel that Deri will agree to the draft sanctions in order to save the Netanyahu government."
The Prime Minister's entourage estimates that they will be able to reach a compromise regarding the draft exemption law. The opposition plans to put forward a preliminary reading this week of a vote on dissolving the Knesset, but the Likud and the ultra-Orthodox parties emphasize that the road to toppling the coalition is still long.
